Upcoming Albums update:

Tracking on Adrift continues, as well as Passages.

Adrift is made up of fairly heavy, almost violent songs.

Passages is more of a throwback to 70's fusion and prog, purposefully going for a 70's production sound.

I hope to have Adrift done by Mid June at the latest.

Passages by August.

Steam Theory Band upcoming gigs:

Our gig at Orion went great!

Audience was fantastic and we had a ball. Big thanks to Orion and Mike Potter for having us!

We will be playing the Big Easy in Randallstown on May23rd. We did an impromptu sit in a few weeks ago and we were asked back as a showcase band. Looks to be a blast!

Tracking is underway on the "Adrift" album. Have lots of material for this, enough for possibly a double album, but still parsing through it all. Mike Magee will be adding some guitars to several tunes.

This coming Saturday March 10th we are playing Orion Studios.

The show is the "I'm Not Dead Yet" birthday celebration for Mike Potter, the owner of Orion, and hes kind enough to have Steam Theory and Iluvatar playing that night!

Admission is free! All are welcome.

We will be starting at 9pm, and Iluvatar around 11pm.

We will be playing a cross section of songs from both Enduring Delirium and Helios Rider, including 2 of the longer pieces, Corum (never done live before) and Sword Runner. Should be a lot of fun!

Helios Rider, the new album by Steam Theory, is now available for download.

The album is made up of 9 new original songs clocking in at just over 56 minutes of music. This album is more 'rock' oriented compared to Enduring Delirium, and has heavy chunks of Blues, Prog, Fusion and even Country bits mixed together. Check it out under the 'Albums' Tab above.
